What is Europe about?

Just a quick comment. I find this issue on Swedish collective wage systems against the European idea of free trade fascinating. The European Parliament - or to be more precise, the socialists - has again taken the role of barking on behalf of the confused citizens. I find this being an excellent test for seeing what Europe is really about. At least to my - limited - understanding, the fact that the Latvian employer is forced to follow Swedish collective wage agreements would also mean better protection and wages for the Latvian employees. I am all energised again to follow EU matters. I am also to a growing extent seeing the links to my own life as someone who graduated this year and is starting to finally realise the notion of being part of labour.
